Prof. Dr. The opening of the symposium held at the Sadettin Ökten Conference Hall and attended by our President ÜLKÜ, was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Presidency Social Policies Board Prof. Dr. Vedat Işıkhan, Governor of Karabük Fuat Gürel, Rector of KBU Prof. Dr. Refik Polat, Karabük Provincial Police Chief Kadir Yırtar, KBU Faculty of Economics and Administrative Units Dean Prof. Dr. Abdullah Karakaya, Head of MCBÜ Social Work Department Prof. Dr. Fatih Şahin, President of the Association of Social Workers Ramazan Yüksel, members of the protocol, managers of public institutions and organizations, academics, students and many guests attended.
Akademisyenlerin, sosyal hizmet uzmanlarının ve öğrencilerin bir araya gelme fırsatı bulduğu, farklısosyal sorunların konuşulduğu ve buna ilişkin konularda yapılan araştırmaların, gelişmelerin paylaşıldığı sempozyumda iklim değişikliği ile mücadele etmek, toplumsal cinsiyet eşitliğini sağlamak, nitelikli eğitimi, sorumlu üretim ve tüketimi yaygınlaştırmak gibi konular tartışılacak.
