The certificates and flags of Afyon Kocatepe University (AKU), which managed to receive the Orange Flag in 12 different venues in the category of "Accessibility in Space" within the scope of the 2022 Barrier-Free University Awards by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), were presented to AKU Rector Prof. Dr. It was delivered by Mehmet Karakaş.
The ceremony held at the AKU Senate Meeting was attended by AKU Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Karakaş, as well as AKU Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Şuayip Özdemir and Prof. Dr. Murat Peker, Secretary General İhsan Ceran, faculty deans, school and vocational school principals and members of the senate attended.
AKU Rectorate, Fine Arts and Technology Faculty, Islamic Sciences Faculty, Engineering Faculty, Veterinary Faculty, Sandıklı School of Applied Sciences, Bayat Vocational School, Çay Vocational School, Dinar Vocational School, TÖMER (Turkish Teaching Application and Research Center), Emirdağ Prof. Dr. Nijad Bilge Youth Culture and Sports Center and Atatürk Congress Center were evaluated in the category of Accessibility in Space at the 2022 Barrier-Free University Awards and were awarded the Orange Flag.
