At the 5th Health and Informatics Symposium, organized by the Turkish Informatics Association Eskişehir Branch with the contributions of the Disabled and Elderly Services Development Foundation, our EYGEV Scientific Board Member Assoc. Dr. Hasan H. Tekin; He contributed with his presentation titled "Virtual Reality (VR) Glasses Applications for the Elderly and the Disabled".
Stating that VR applications are an attractive complementary education approach for elderly and disabled individuals, Mr. Tekin said, “Although VR-focused content, which has become a trend in the world, seems to appeal mostly to the entertainment industry, it also attracts attention from different disciplines such as education, health and social services. "Our country's success in this field is important for the health and social services fields to compete with developed countries." He expressed the added value it will create in our country.
