In 1998, 26 October was accepted as "Patient Rights Day" in Turkey. Patient rights support people who need to benefit from biological and psychological health services to regain their health by receiving adequate and quality medical care, regardless of race, nationality, ethnicity, religion, language and gender. Patient rights, the solution of the problems that arise between the patient and the health workers at the individual and social level; knowing the duties and responsibilities of healthcare professionals towards the patient and the patient's healthcare professionals; These are the rights that patients and health workers should claim together for a better health environment.
